Se busca incorporar a una persona de apoyo para participar en el desarrollo y la caracterización de nano-inmunoterapias duales capaces de restablecer la homeostasis de la matriz extracelular y potenciar la inmunidad frente al adenocarcinoma ductal de páncreas. Este enfoque innovador tiene como finalidad generar una respuesta inmunitaria local eficaz y promover una activación prolongada del sistema inmunitario que contribuya a prevenir futuras recidivas en forma de metástasis. Tareas concretas a desarrollar: síntesis y caracterización exhaustiva de vectores no virales polipeptídicos. Desarrollo de nanoportadores, optimización de la formación de poliplejos con mRNA dirigidos a modular el microambiente tumoral, caracterización físico-química incluyendo tamaño, forma, carga y estabilidad de los poliplejos de mRNA.

We are seeking to incorporate a research support staff member to contribute in the development and characterization of dual nano-immunotherapies capable of restoring extracellular matrix homeostasis and enhancing immunity against pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). This innovative approach aims to generate an effective local immune response and promote sustained immune activation to help prevent future recurrences in the form of metastasis. Specific tasks to be carried out: synthesis and exhaustive characterization of non-viral polypeptidic vectors. Development of nanocarriers, optimization of polyplex formation with mRNA aimed at modulating the tumor microenvironment, and physicochemical characterization including size, shape, charge, and stability of the mRNA polyplexes.
