El puesto comprende la expresión y purificación de dos proteínas de membrana, incluyendo la optimización de condiciones de expresión, solubilización y obtención de proteína funcional mediante técnicas bioquímicas y de cromatografía. La persona contratada llevará a cabo estudios funcionales en sistemas de liposomas (LUVs) para caracterizar la actividad de dichas proteínas en un entorno biomimético, evaluando su interacción con membranas y los mecanismos asociados a la formación de poros o procesos dependientes de membrana. Asimismo, realizará la validación de la diana en modelos celulares 2D y 3D, aplicando técnicas avanzadas de biología celular para estudiar la relevancia funcional de la proteína en contextos fisiológicos más complejos. El puesto incluye también la ejecución de ensayos de drug evaluation, destinados a analizar la eficacia, mecanismo de acción y potencial terapéutico de compuestos de interés, empleando tanto aproximaciones bioquímicas como celulares.
