La persona seleccionada se encargará de realizar tareas encaminadas a apoyar  objetivos específicos del proyecto CIAICO/2023/149 (“Impacto de la diferencia de sexo en las enfermedades de Parkinson y Alzheimer: evaluación desde la biología integrativa de datos transcriptómicos, microbiota e imagen biomédica, DifNer"), que han requerido un refuerzo del equipo de trabajo  para su ejecución y cumplimiento.

• Apoyo en la participación en el diseño y en la ejecución de estrategias computacionales del proyecto: a) generación de pipelines de análisis bioinformáticos; b) revisión y aplicación de metodología de análisis de datos de transcriptómica unicelular y espacial; c) identificación de perfiles diferenciales por sexo en los pacientes con enfermedades neurodegenerativas; d) desarrollo de herramientas web para el análisis de datos ómicos.
• Soporte en la interpretación de resultados y participación en la preparación de productos científicos: comunicaciones a congresos y publicaciones científicas.

The selected candidate will be responsible for performing tasks aimed at supporting specific objectives of the CIAICO/2023/149 project (‘Impact of sex differences on Parkinson's and Alzheimer's diseases: evaluation from the integrative biology of transcriptomic data, microbiota and biomedical imaging, DifNer’), which have required reinforcement of the work team for their execution and fulfilment.

• Support in the design and implementation of computational strategies for the project: a) generation of bioinformatic analysis pipelines; b) review and application of single-cell and spatial transcriptomic data analysis methodology; c) identification of gender-differential profiles in patients with neurodegenerative diseases; d) development of web tools for omics data analysis.
• Support in the interpretation of results and participation in the preparation of scientific products: conference communications and scientific publications.
