La Unidad de Enfermedades Raras Neurodegenerativas cuenta con una línea de investigación cuyo objetivo general es avanzar en el diagnóstico y la prognosis de la enfermedad de Wilson (EW). Para ello, los estudios se centran en la caracterización de las bases moleculares en pacientes con enfermedad de Wilson y Wilson-like, y en la identificación de biomarcadores (miRNAs y microbioma). Trabajará dentro del proyecto financiado por la Fundació Per Amor a l’Art (FPAA).

The Unit of Rare Neurodegenerative Diseases has an open research line that has a main goal to gain insight into the diagnosis and prognosis of the Wilson disease. To do this, the studies are focused in the characterization of the molecular bases of patients with Wilson disease and Wilson-like phenotypes, and in the identification of biomarkers (miRNAs and microbiome). The researcher will work in the project funded by the Foundation Per Amor a l’Art (FPAA).
